Hollow Tide

Hollow Tide is a quiet adventure game about exploring a half-submerged town and slowly understanding what happened to the people who left. You tap your way between hand-drawn scenes, pick up objects, and solve gentle environmental puzzles that rarely leave you stuck for long.

The pacing is deliberate and the atmosphere is the whole point — rain on windows, distant foghorns, notes left in drawers. I played it in one long evening and it never felt like it was padding for the sake of length. The puzzles are logical, grounded in the world, and occasionally quite clever.

If you want action, this isn't it. But as a slow, melancholy story you unravel with your thumb, Hollow Tide is lovely. The ending stuck with me for a couple of days.
